I bought a 12 mini and returned it. Also a year later bought a 13 mini and returned it.

The reason it didn’t work for me:

The size was easier with one hand but still not fully a one hand device with a case on it. This meant sometimes using 2 hands and a cramped screen to type on.

The small screen was hard to read on, I do a lot of reading and it was just difficult to ‘downgrade’ to a smaller screen. Media consumption was also not quite as good. The speakers are a huge downgrade from a full size phone and the screen is just too small for me after getting used to bigger phones.

Lastly, I hated that it didn’t have a macro mode. I didn’t think I would care about losing this feature but it is super useful to take pictures of text or other things up close as a utility.

Overall it just wasn’t worth it for me.
