I live in a sydney neighborhood now, populated by mostly asians. I think my family is one of the only whites around here. The cool thing about this neighborhood, is that the asians here are EXPERTS at tax evasion and benefit claiming. This is meant as a COMPLIMENT. It seriously amazes me. This suburb in sydney is listed in the top 50 of the "poorest areas" but i'm seeing asians raking in 1.5k weekly from under the table work and government assistance. And they have houses that could sell for 1 mill. I even known an Asian couple who faked their son's mental illness so they could claim carers allowance. He wanted to drop out at 14, so he could work as a plumber, but legally he couldn't until he was 16. So it was a win win situation. There's also this single mum who works part time and has a house with 2 illegal granny flats, she's raking in 600 per week for both granny flats, so around 2.4k a month for both in rent which is enough to pay her mortgage (being born in america, i know for people reading this, it would seem alot for rent, but it's pretty normal in australia) . The thing is, majority of my relatives live in America, and I just couldn't imagine anyone pulling the kind of stuff these asians pull off over here. Very smart race. I have an aunt who couldn't afford a 110k house with already 60k settlement she got from a divorce. No matter how much she calculated, no way she could have afforded a house around 110k. She was going to rent for life. That's what amazes me. Single mum with part time job, being able to pay a 2.4k mortgage on a house now worth around 1 mill, like how bloody fucking cool. im actually super fucking jealous
