Has anything proposed by a player in an STO forum ever been implemented by the devs?

I mean, a lot of stuff that has been implemented also was proposed on the forums, or on reddit, by players, at some point. Whether the developers got the idea for a feature from a player suggestion is a different question; contrary to popular belief, most developers are not cretins who are unable to perceive where a feature change could make a big improvement to the game.

Most of the time they've known about the idea of things players want for quite a long time, and its likely the feature has been on a long, long list of may-do things for ages. The trouble typically is just getting it slotted in to be worked on along with the million other things that need to be done that aren't as visible to players, or having to get sign off for a large amount of bug-inducing rework that will be needed for what seems like a simple change.

That said, I and I am sure others suggested the button to teleport BOFFs to your side many times. Now we have one. Was it because we asked for it? I kinda doubt it. I think that's one of those items that was on someone's wish list to do for a really long time and it finally was able to get done. But maybe people asking for it helped them make the case for moving it up ahead of some other things that weren't asked for, as much.
