I never said doctors had the right to inject patients with experimental drugs and did not correlate the pharmaceutical industry with the medical profession at all. I admit testing of new theories sounds scientific but as a term does not define scientific experimentation. What I meant by “testing of new theories” is rather doctors using their knowledge of medical care and current events to make quick, rational judgements to better help the population without first being approved by an overlooking body. (Let me make clear that by judgments I mean general recommendations to patients in order to help each specific case. This has no involvement with recommending drugs or and risky/harmful form of treatment but patient well being. At the end of the day it should be up to the patient to decide what they want to do to stay healthy and safe.)
