As someone who uses crypto only because sports betting isn’t legal where I stay and that’s the easiest way to be paid out… crypto really isn’t that different than normal currency meaning the real value behind is a currency is how the public views it. Economics and currency is made up by humans. Now the problem with crypto is what it portrays itself as: an unregulated currency. Which will never have full public trust because of shit like this. Regulation isn’t necessarily a bad thing at all, crypto bros do be annoying af tho. But to throw away crypto as just a scam is a very black and white way of looking at things and I’m much more of a many shades of gray area kinda dude.
