Yeah of course, it's way too integral to the game tbh.

Like if you have it off, the game doesn't make sense. No one can die, nothing every changes. It's a stalemate war till eternity, not even sure you can actually win the map cause you can't execute nor can they simply die off and shit using the prisoner etc. methods.

A thing to realize, is characters live a helluva long time.

Especially with the medicine perks, like if you get to age 40 even, which you still can't even die at, that's like 20 years into a run, which is hundreds of real-time hours.

Your heirs, there's ways to level them up so they're 'ready' when time comes, are just as good as you were nearly etc. if you even were to play a run till you actually died, but trust me, you likely won't. We're talking like 1k hours kinda stuff to have a character actually get old enough to keel over.
