Are Beyonce, Britney and All them Pop singers on the MUSICAL level of Classic Rock bands like Beatles and Led Zeppelin?

Beyonce is the closest thing we have to a modern day Michael Jackson. She has a long career filled with great music, is an amazing dancer, has amazing stage presence- she's the full package.

The Beatles, willingly let Ringo come along for the ride for too long. There are 10 year old's with more musical talent than Ringo. Even John Lennon said there were better drummers in the beatles. Many producers hated working with The Beatles because Ringo was very average. Their early stuff is very poppy & generic. They changed a lot in their development through the years. John Lennon was a fantastic song writer & George Harrison had a lot of musical talent. George actively seeked out talent such as Jimi Hendrix & others & learnt from them & copied their sound. Paul is great at making music that sells.

Led Zeppelin, again, Jimmy Page is incredibly talented, but their lyrics are so good because they read & regurgitated Tolkien's writing. I don't think that makes them bad.

Britney has some iconic songs, but no, not Staircase to Heaven level.

So it's a complicated question. Beyonce is undoubtedly the most talented person in that list, but in The Beatles day, you didn't need to be a multi talented, stadium performer.
