the atoms we normally encounter are asleep and quantum mechanics is the automatic default sleep behavior and you can't sing to them while they are asleep.

Unless that is the purpose of sleep. Maybe regulating harmonic resonance at a metabolic level is what are consciousness does while asleep.

Maybe sleep is not a state that we enter in to prepare and recover from waking life. Maybe the purpose of our waking life is to do what we have to do to keep living organism and procure the necessities of life.... so that volitional consciousness can get to work doing what consciousness does while we are asleep....which is being the conductor of the love/compassion symphony being sung and played by the trillions of individual voices within every cell in our body.
