I know this is an old thread, but I came here searching for answers and everyone seems to just assume it’s random... it probably is for most clans who don’t realize, but rest assured there is an algorithm to picking who plays twice on war days.

I say this with confidence because someone in my clan has figured it out and now I’m trying to figure out what he knows... to date he has gotten numerous double war day battles. And he’s currently up to SIX in a row. He know something.

What I do know is that he’s a pretty good player usually, but he always does bad on collection day, even (purposely?) missing collection day battles. And he usually joins collection day late... I’m not 100% yet, but those two things might have something to do with who gets an extra battle.

Experiment for yourself?... I’m going to this round.
