You said you were “pretty transparent” about looking to build a relationship. Maybe not transparent enough. I wouldn’t even let the profile do the talking for you, I’d go further than being transparent and just be super straight forward that is what you want. Even telling people on the first or second date you don’t wanna be sexually intimate until you’re more sure it’s moving towards a relationship. That doesn’t mean you’ll have to wait if the moment or vibe comes up, but it will deter the wrong people away from you.

She could also just be a crappy person, and knew what you wanted and still took advantage of you physically.
