Women of Reddit, what was a scary situation you were in that turned out not to be scary at all?

My son went on a solo neighborhood bike ride, was told to stay in our "quadrant" & be back in just a little bit. Usually his rides are like, 20 minutes, if that. He was gone about a half an hour when I became worried & started driving around. By about 50 minutes I had all my friends driving around looking for him all over & was literally about 10 seconds from calling the police & reporting him as missing, when he cruised into our yard right at the hour mark. People think its nuts to get kids phones...but you bet your butt I immediately bought him a cell phone. He ended up spotting a friend, he parked his bike & played in their backyard for a while, didn't think it would be a big deal. If I had known, I wouldn't have thought it was a big deal either.
