Yep, I’m tired of this argument. Of course people are talking about it, it was four college students stabbed to death - wasn’t a murder suicide or domestic dispute, was random (as far as we know), went unsolved for weeks. Of course people are intrigued, because it’s so unusual and bizarre. Can’t name many cases like this, that’s why so many news outlets latched on, it’s an unprecedented and horrifying case.

And also, tons of people have been chiming in to say “Well, no one in my life knows about this case” or “No one knows what I’m talking about when I reference this case”. Lots of people aren’t following it and don’t know anything about it.
