Autobiographical Poem from "Dancing the Dream"

Michael was so misunderstood and we all know that. People tried for years and years to confined him in a labelled box but they just couldn’t! He was bigger than any box. He was larger than life and deeper than any normal person. He didn’t care for mundane things like food or sex or even money and that puzzled people that lived in the shallow part of life were things like that are a big deal. He was in touch with something much deeper that made all those things uninterested. Not saying the didn’t have his shadows, but he was deeply connected with the light we all have inside of us. And it was and still is too odd for a world with so much darkness...
