Baby Boomers think Millennials are selfish idiots.

As a Gen X'er, I think they both make a great points.

Baby Boomers brought western civilization to its knees, and Millenials look poised to deliver the killing blow. The millenials are the perfect carbon copies of their avaricious grandparents in their youth, with their disdain for lawful authority and rampant troublemaking. But what of the GenX'ers? No one speaks of them, the silent majority.

I believe that it is up to our generation, Generation X, to take up the mantle left behind by the Greatest Generation, the mantle which the pathologically selfish Baby Boomers nearly destroyed in their endless quest for materialistic gain. We may build it back up, as the Greatest Generation did, and they may tear it down again, as the Baby Boomers did, but their children and grandchildren will look up to us as the shining examples, as we now look up to the Greatest Generation; and, they shall hold their Millenial forebears in the same contempt that we hold the Baby Boomers in.
