It's been 6 months, let's have an honest conversation about New Horizons.

I think that's a valid point! I do still play New Leaf. But I think it would be more valuable to be able to engage with the series I love at it's newest form, with all of the graphics and QoL upgrades that came with it. New Leaf is a fantastic game, but visually it's an obvious giant step down from Horizons. I'm really happy that so many new fans enjoy New Horizons, but I don't think it needed to isolate what fans of the older games liked. It could have had both old and new. That's my issue. I'm definitely not trying to beat the game into submission, but I find it's been difficult to express criticism towards New Horizons without unnecessary backlash. Criticism can be healthy and respectful. My intent isn't to take away from what people enjoy about Horizons, but I think there should be space for older fans to express their opinions as well.
