He's told me twice recently that he's happy to come over to my place just to hang out, not just for sex. He said he wants me to know it's not a booty call when he comes over. He also said he feels we are less casual now and it's a good thing.

We've been dating exclusively several months now. We check in and have convos like this and l think we are communicating better now. I told him l want to talk to him more between dates and l wanted him to initiate more. While he acknowledged he's not a big texter, he's not opposed to the idea, and said l can also text or call him whenever l want to talk to him. I woke up to a text this morning from him wishing me a good day so l was happy.
