Do you believe Ben Simmons will develop a jump shot?

Don't lump me in with the dudes you're arguing with just so you can feel better about yourself. I haven't said anything yet, and at the time I made my comment, maybe 75% of the comments in this thread were walls-of-text from you about how sure you were of the limits on the human capacity to improve oneself. I genuinely feel sorry for you and folks who might be influenced by this kind of trash perspective from you.

Since you're so intent on arguing with me, though... I'll bite.

The fact is, you have no idea what it takes for a person to improve their jump shot. It's different for every person, and for some, it can happen overnight. Take Jason Kidd... He started working with Dirk on his shot when he came to the mavericks and improved his 3p% by 10 percentage points year over year. Dirk didn't even look at a basketball until he was 13. In the span of 6 years, he had developed an elite shot and was headed to the NBA. Just this past season, Korver began struggling as a shooter because he had to adjust his form while recovering from elbow surgery. As soon as he was able to restore his form to normal....he showed massive improvement. History is littered with players who've improved their shot drastically by tweaking their form a little bit. It's not the norm, but these are not isolated cases and it is in no way "impossible" the way you seem to be suggesting.

Good luck fixing that...
