i'm going to assume you've never met someone with autism or with aspergers? they perpetually behave a certain way, that's why they are diagnosed with what they have...

To me, the whole thing is just a collection of clichés, from the many reminders that he's autistic to having him write on the room windows

if writing on windows bothered you that much I really doubt you actually "wanted to like this movie"

Ben Affleck's acting is awful

i just disagree, I thought he played an autistic person pretty well, + the action scenes were great

Anna Kendrick is just there to be pretty, her character being nearly empty
