Benton Bees 2, Me 0: A Review

I know they're temporary. Like I said, I had them before due to other issues. It's been a long while though, and I haven't been doing any straining today or any day this week. Nothing in my routine or my life has changed but this (I lead a pretty sedentary lifestyle).

It was actually pretty good otherwise. I do think I noticed some brightening effects under my eyes. My cheeks did feel a bit strange after usage on the first day - there was a bit of a tingly feeling, not so much on the surface of my skin the way it is when you apply a harsh product, but a very faint numbness underneath. For all I know, I could be allergic, though it certainly took a while to show up, and I've been stung by a bee before with no side effects. There was no tingling on the second and third day. The mask material is kind of thick though. There's an extra bit sticking out at the bottom below my chin, and even when I was lying down I couldn't get it to stick.

I did post a review on RRS at the marketplace app I used, before this issue cropped up:

"The mask pack has been working well for me with no breakouts so far, and has noticeable brightening effects, especially under my eyes. My one warning is that Benton doesn't use chemical preservatives in its products. While this may seem like a great thing, they might have issues when subjected to higher temperatures over long periods. For this reason I would only buy the masks and not other items."

You're allowed to be as bitter as you want. I'm merely stating my opinions. I understand that it was a long time ago, though I just began reading up on everything when I was researching the brand and the warnings about preservatives hold true till today. I still purchased it despite my initial waffling, and it didn't quite work out.
