Well, my build is definitely a work in progress (like, I'm literally going to change it today). I've been using the mining trick in the lava caverns to get tons of zenny and been building whatever I feel like...So I have like 5 or 6 of the Rarity 6+ Glaives now, and I switch them out depending on what I'm fighting.

That said, I almost always use a Kinsect with high speed, and my favorite is Windchopper. It's one of the fastest and it has Triple Up Time, so that means I can get my buffs fast and keep them a lot longer.

For Damage, the Teostra stuff looks good, but my build right now is mostly defensive. It's:

Sinister Shadowstaff, Zinogre Helm S, Jelly Vest S, Jelly Gloves S, Rathalos Coil S, Jelly Boots S, Underworld Petalace, and Fatal Tempest Talisman

My maxed skills are: Wide-Range, Divine Blessing, Blast Attack, Resistance for whatever I'm fighting, and Hunger Resistance.

I love Divine Blessing most of all, but Wide Range is great too.

My current switch skills are: Advancing Roundslash, Tornado Slash, and Diving Wyvern

Diving Wyvern is great and makes me feel like a Dragoon from Final Fantasy. When my Blast procs and I hit a weak spot with this attack I sometimes do about 350-400 damage in one hit (and it is almost always 100+ damage).

I'm about to change my build with a Leap Jewel decoration, because that will be a HUGE deal when I can make it. I'm also interested in trying out Refresh Jewels for Stamina and Wirebug Jewels. As it is now, though, you can pretty much already always stay in the air between your stamina bar and your wirebug.
