Alright my dudes... participating in this thread inspired me to go back and listen to the 2 Best Debate episodes I missed, the 2 leading up to this week's lack of episode.
The first one was pretty goddamn lame. In fact my brief hiatus helped me realize I really wasn't missing much of anything. Lame crap.
Still downloaded the latest episode to listen to SOMETHING new while at work. Plus I was kinda hoping there would be some type of clue or insight to the lack of new episode so I might shoot the hot goss with the Reddit DickHeads.
WELL GUESS THE FUCK WHAT?
At the end of the episode Rucka takes a stab at Jess that makes it onto the air. This makes me wonder: is she even with Maddox anymore? Is that why it didn't get cut? Or perhaps Maddox didn't even catch it at first, released the episode, and he's trying to run a frenzied damage control plan, leading to no new one this week.
A preface: the previous week's guests were a south-african girl who moved to California to make it as a model/actress, and her American boyfriend who converted to veganism after dating her for 6 months. At the end of the most recent episode, Weird Matthew calls in calling Maddox a cuck (which Maddox actually laughs at) and ribs him over not being hard enough on her because she was a girl.
Rucka responds thusly:
"It's hard! Why don- You do it! You be a model! You show us how easy it is to get paid to look good, alright? God damn! I'm a man of the people, OK? I identify with the hard working hot chicks that actually do something with their life, and they don't just have some old Armenian pay their bills."
Again, that this slipped by really makes me question Maddox and Jess's status. But here's the facts: This was said at the end of last week's episode, Maddox laughed at it in the moment, and there was no episode this week. There it is.
