A year ago Greg Gutfield said the left feels they are justified in attacking, censoring or blocking opponents because deep down they think their cause is true.

That sounds like an obvious observation, but what we've unfortunately seen is the left taking that sentiment to heart over every single issue

But here's the thing (I read this, I didn't make this connection) - decades ago, young adult men would eagerly sign up to serve their country and fight, because the governing bodies elected were still considered extensions of the general citizenry-we used to elect people to represent us and we didn't think of them (the way we do today) as 100% corrupt. So when war broke out, the slightest propaganda could be used by many nations to enlist men willing to die for home.

I think that is so interesting, because many of us have trouble grasping how 22 year old Antifa members can assault people and think that is okay. Their political mindsets are so blurred by the varying idealogoies of their professors, that they consider their politics to be worth fighting over.

It's just now hitting me, even though I've been involved for two years in all of this madness. Where do we go next? I hate to think about it.

There is one joke that does keep coming back to my mind - my twitter followers / people I talk to are typically older men and women and they looooove to remind everyone that one side of this fight has the guns and are not afraid to use them! I don't see civil war in our immediate future, but there is a change coming. The fire is rising. I'm a big guy for you.
