I definitely did a few moderate multi-pitches on xeralto, and several 4th class peaks. The docs told me to stay out of the mountains, but nobody said anything about staying off of interstate highways, which statistically appear to be way more dangerous, so I ignored them.

Background: I was on xeralto for 6 months after an unprovoked multiple bilateral PE clot shower. Never found the clot, docs figured it broke up? (so a bit different than your situation). Only went to the doc after I coughed up blood after a 20mi mountain run, went to an urgent care, they did an x ray and sent me home. Called me at home a few days later, recommended I get a scan in the ER, at which point they freaked out and wouldn't let me leave the hospital for a few days. That was a few years ago (44yo now), and I don't do much different except drink a lot more water, as dehydration may have been one of the main precipitating factors
