Blu e-cig recharable equivelent in Canada?

The matter of caring is something I will leave up to you. Your money is your vote, and we're all entitled to spend as we see fit. The capitalist world is formed by how the majority spends. This market in particular, however, can be a daunting one to navigate, and those with the means to advertise and acquire the shelf real estate with the largest amount of traffic have an edge. As such, around here we do our best to make sure consumers are educated and informed. We don't have many places to turn for information, that's why this sub and communities like it exist. I absolutely won't preach, of that much you may rest assured.

I am unfortunately not well-informed on the cigalike front, but I believe that there are devices of this format that are not produced by tobacco companies. If that is of interest for you, I'll happily seek out more information and provide it to you. As a Blu employee and fellow redditor has already commented, Blu intends to move into the Canadian market with force in the near future. While I wish them the very, very worst, that is good news for you should you opt to continue to use their brand. As I said before, though, if you're interested in alternatives, I will happily seek them out for you.

A very close friend of mine was a pack-a-week smoker for many years. Upon trying my first vape set up, she decided it might be a viable option for her to quit smoking. She repeatedly mentioned the fact that she knew she'd miss holding a cigarette between her fingers...that was part of the habit that she found particularly endearing, or was perhaps simply apprehensive about losing. I suggested that she might try vaping for a little while, and if it wasn't for her, I'd buy the hardware from her.

I never did have to buy that hardware. She purchased an inexpensive stick battery (Spinner) and a small tank (Kanger EVOD 2). It was very pocket/purse friendly, though it is entirely unlike a cigarette in form and function. She has since found that her desire for that object between her fingers...that flick out the car window...the ritual of lighting and puffing...are not as important to her as she once assumed. Her chemical addiction was satisfied, and the health improvements she has seen were motivation enough to forget completely that she once wanted to maintain those little details as part of her ritual.

By way of another anecdote, and feel free to skip it if my longwindedness is boring you to tears, is my own experience. I kept my cigarette pack and lighter on a table in my room when I first started vaping. I didn't bother to tuck it away...it just sat around for the first week or so. One day as I was leaving my house, I gathered by wallet/keys/etc from the table, and as I looked down, I noticed that my Eleaf iStick 20w which sat next to my old Bic lighter was nearly identical in size and shape. I had a chuckle at that, picked up my vape and carried on with my day.

Moments like that stuck with me, because I was once very apprehensive about vaping and doubted my ability to quit. Those little details, however, made the transition easier than I ever imagined. More complicated than plant matter rolled in paper and lit aflame? Absolutely. But I can't overemphasize the role that that inherent complexity played in adopting a ritual that was distracting enough to help me to forget all about my addiction.

I'm very sorry again about my longwindedness...again, my TL;DR is that I'd be happy to scout non-tobacco-company products for you and that while more substantial devices carry perhaps a more daunting format and method of use, they're not all garish and unwieldy metal tubes...there are recommendations that could be made to better suit your needs for a device that isn't so uncomfortable.
