A brand new "Factorio for Minecraft" modpack! After 300 hours and 3500 lines of scripts, I present to you: Feed the Factory! It takes the best mechanics of Factorio and balances them around Minecraft

I love the concept of this pack. I haven't played Factorio for a few years. I can definitely see the similarities.

That being said, if the idea is to build rail lines out to resources, it doesn't really make sense. They deplete far too fast. You'd have to constantly extend your rails to new chunks all the time.

I currently have 8 or 10 miners which I deploy on the veins until their chunks are depleted. I then go grab the ores, move the miners one chunk away, then return to base to process the ores I grabbed.

The veins are 8 to 10 chunks away. There's no way I'm interested in building a rail line all that way. In fact, I haven't built a single rail car yet.

Not to mention, I believe you'd have to chunkload all those rails.

I find myself going to a location, chunkloading it, then mining it. Then remove the chunkloading and move the miner. I find myself spending too much time in the FTB Chunks interface. Constantly chunk loading or unloading as I progress to the next deposit.

Perhaps, consider making the veins infinite. That gives me a reason to build a rail line out to those chunks.

Overall, I'm enjoying the pack. I currently have so many resources that I'll probably build 100 first level researchers.

Oh, just one point to add: I figured from the description of the level one researcher that it ran on coal. I threw some coal into the furnaces which immediately broke the multiblock and cancelled the research. Perhaps a note about that in the quests would help.

Cheers.
