The best way to learn the MPC is not by taking lessons… it is by using it. There’s no secret tricks that someone is going to give you that you can’t learn yourself or look up in the MPC bible.

“Knowing” all the features of the MPc isn’t going to make you any better at it or save you time in the future it will probably confuse you even more if you have it in your head that you need to find a certain “thing” or feature.

Open the MPC, load a drum kit… sample some stuff in or play with the plug-in instruments and make a beat. Don’t add any effects or anything.

Then for every “feature” you want to learn you make a project and you focus on using that feature in the project.
