I feel really sad for her. She has been hypersexualized her entire life. We were fine with her being a sex icon as a teenager. Now we aren’t okay with photos she posts of herself naked. Why? We can dress it up as “she’s a mother she should behave” all we want but in reality we aren’t okay with it because she is doing it for free. She’s not making money off it.

And publicly scrutinized her entire life. She was never given the opportunity to be a normal HUMAN, and now we just expect her to be a perfectly stable person and mother! There is no handbook for how to navigate being Britney Spears. If she ever feels like she needs help, I hope she reaches out to professionals but “help” was punitive and traumatic for so long that I don’t know if she trusts anyone.

This feels like 2007 all over again and I hope she is able to get guidance and have enough love to pull through.
