I agree with you that it's awful behavior to be shitting on their profiles, which is why I don’t do it. Don’t misunderstand - I’m not condoning it. I just accept it as a reality, and Rachel and Bryan mostly get positive comments on their posts based on what I saw.

I missed the rapist part but some of the allegations being made against Hefner in the comments are absolutely true. It’s sort of the risk Bryan or anyone takes in calling the man a legend and aligning themselves with the man that some may look at it seriously instead of as just a costume. I still think there’s a tendency by some on their profiles to blow up or overreact to even minor comments.

I don’t agree with you that it’s their own space. It’s really only your own space if you choose to make it private. The fact that it’s a public profile means it’s intended for public consumption and with that comes a lack of control on how people respond. In an ideal world, everyone would be kind and respectful. But there is nothing ideal about the world.
