Yep! Infections are always warm, swollen, tender. Put warm compresses on it at least 2x/day to help speed up the process (it will naturally get bigger and full of burst and then burst). It will need to burst to heal. Do not try to burst it yourself, it has to naturally pop open (otherwise you will make it worse by spreading the infection around or by making it deeper/make it heal with scarring). If it's still there after 2 weeks, it will need to be drained by a doctor/nurse. And of course visit a doctor if you start getting signs like fever, fast heart rate etc which might indicate that the infection spilled into your bloodstream (boils are very common and this complication is super unlikely, but just pointing that out)
