True taliyah has quite a lot of burst later on but early in laning phase her damage is quite small in comparison to something like neeko who half healths you with one e q. Also to my knowledge taliyah is considered a "battlemage" since she has quite a bit of consistent damage and what I wanted for my champ pool was an assassin (akali), a "battlemage" or mage that does consistent damage which is taliyah, and then a burst mage. Maybe I'm going about my pool wrong idrk since I've only been playing for around a year and only draft pick until recently but if I don't need a burst mage since I have taliyah, what should I be looking for to round out my pool?
