Can we just take a moment to talk about how amazing a character Jules is?

Tho, the time her being trans is mentioned, is the only scene I felt was very bad scripting. Like the internet is not a new thing to these teenagers and meeting a stranger at a lake, at night screams murder to everyone. It's like a bad horror movie trope. I like how they build up on that, the lake scene visuals, but it's just not believable to happen in the first place. I think they wanted us to think she's getting murdered to make Nate more interesting, but meh, too pushy.

Btw, Dispatches from Elsewhere has a similar interesting and well-scripted trans character. The woman is a lot less lady Galadriel character and more like an average adult, which I enjoyed even more. Watched both series recently and am very happy about the state of the trans in television now :D
