well i guess agree to agree?? i defended mckay in the thread that was calling out fans saying he was worse than nate lol but tbh i never really saw mckay villainized by fans the way you guys claim, im not doubting that there are a couple freaks out there that actually believe he's worse than nate but when this show was premiering and there was lots of discussion about it on this sub and on twitter the general opinion of mckay was that he's just kind of shitty so i think to most fans find his character to be mostly forgettable and not necessarily EVIL. idk i just think all this good guy bad guy shit is a waste of discussion when it all boils down to how the characters were written and how mckay got shafted while cassie was written in a much more sympathizing way. but reducing it down to, "cassie did a bad thing too!! why aren't fans mad!!" like the op is just super reductive imo. the way the characters are received all comes down to writing.
