Here, I'll leave this up as an informative post for the community, since we see and receive a lot of the same comments and modmail, and a nice rules refresher seems to be in order.
Top 3 reasons why your clip was removed:
Mediocre - It received little to notupvotes, and little to no comments. They are removed to keep the subreddit history from being 95% 0 upvote post, which is what it would be if we didn't remove them.
Already posted - Self explanatory.
Self-promotion - Mostly self explanatory, though remember that if you are a mod of a smaller channel and you post a clip, it also counts as "self" promotion.
So your post got removed, what happens?
A mod responds in comment to your post stating the removal reason. This very quickly fills up our histories with nothing but removal comments, so some mods avoid it.
A mod sends you a direct message with a removal reason. Keeps our personal logs clutter free.
So your post got removed and you didn't get either of the above, what happened?
You and 25 other of your closest buddies posted the exact same clip, and all the duplicates were quickly removed. (If you watch Ice or Soda, this happens a lot, and to a lesser extent Greek)
The post history got cluttered since no one checked it for awhile, and some mod had to remove 50 mediocre (see above) posts in a row. We have lives believe it or not, and went for a quick removal.
That's it. There is no conspiracy for post removals. You are not being personally targeted and harassed by any moderator. We hate all of your favorite streamers equally. Very rarely are submissions removed for breaking any of the other rules not listed above, it's probably a 97 / 3% split.
