Cannes Adds Roman Polanski Film Starring Eva Green to Lineup

They had sex. Of course it's pretty sketchy and unethical and I am not saying it's okay but:

A. It's not like he violently raped her. It was statutory rape. People talk he raped her at knife point or something.

B. She was 13, in puberty and already sexually active. I am not saying that it makes okay with he did, but people react like he kidnapped 5 year old or something.

C. Polanski first co-operated with the court and even spend some time in jail. He only left the country after power-hungry judge tried to alter the deal.

So yes, I don't think that it's okay for adult man to fuck 13 year old girls, but at the same time but it still seems that the reaction to this is way overblown. Even the woman in question has long since move on and has nothing bad to say about Roman. And since then Polanski has been married to same women for almost 30 years, has children and has worked with child actors and never once has anybody even accused him of anything similar even though he is so public figure. What I'm saying is that all the evidence shows that Polanski isn't pedophile and psychiatrists assessment ordered by court came to that conclusion as well.
