Japan was made an ally and was immediately given HUGE amounts of government funding from the U.S. and other Western countries to "help prevent the spread of Communism" by keeping a eye on China. That's why the propaganda against Japanese people went from horrid cannibals to "smart, intelligent, super peaceful, awesome people!!!". When Western countries want to destroy or uplift a people you'll see a reflection in their propaganda. Western countries still abuse India. They still take huge amounts of resources way underpriced under the threat of retaliation if India does not comply. They ship their trash to India. They use practically "unpaid slave" labor from Indians to build and create their products for them. They place sanctions and embargoes on India. That's the thing about Western countries, they want certain countries to remain poor, so that they can take advantage. The East Asian "model minority" also manufactured propaganda for a reason. When people begin to question why some countries are getting a boot in their neck, instead of questioning Western countries, they'll point to Japan and, "Say it can't be due to Europe! Look at the Japanese! They thrive due to intelligence!!". They thrive because their countries receive massive amounts of funding to this day. They thrive in European countries and in America because they were purposefully given great assets, great bank loans, allowed to start businesses when Indians could not, entry into rich, white neighborhoods/schools and Universities where Indians were barred. What a lot of people don't know is that after WW2, Japanese Americans and their children and grandchildren were given $20,000 U.S. EACH for so called "reparations". Which in today's money is equivalent to $80,000 U.S. each person. That's a lot of money. You can get very far with an $80,000 jump start in life. Yet, Western media outlets refuse to talk about it because they want the people to believe that East Asians get ahead in life because they're smarter than all the others, it's apart of the propaganda. That's how Western countries are able to abuse the "Global South" without question, that's why in countries that are destroyed by Western powers the people still have undying respect and affection for these white countries. That's why they're able to take and take without the victims of their exploitation trying to fight them off. Indians would rather fight Indians than fight the people who ensure their country remains poor. Western propaganda has reached a new age.
