The council's do fuck all anymore, they refuse to provide bins or amenities because they had to collect rubbish clean public toilets etc. ie do what they are supposed to do. It would kill them to put a lick of fucking paint or anything around the place. Dublin is a kip, you only have to go to any major city in the world to see that.. If your looking for slums they are still around they were just pushed out. I was in an estate last week where not one window is not boarded up, the whole community burn thier rubbish on the green area in the middle of the estate, junkies lying around everywhere. Stones throw from the city I'm not naming names. Just because you don't visit these areas does not mean they don't exist. If you want to see junkies off the streets the good old residents of dublin blocked a walk in injection clinic last week so what do people fucking want..
