I actually didn't know anything about cybersecurity until like 6 months ago. Growing up I always been on my computer playing video games but never learned about networks or computers. While doing a lot of research about careers after I withdrew from my community college. I saw a TikTok video about WGU Cybersecurity and since then I've done more in depth research about it and was intrigued. I like the type of work as it's something that will always be needed and is constantly changing. Also Cybersecurity I feel like has a little bit of everything, programming, security, networking, etc. which I liked a lot. I know cybersecurity isn't going to be easy but it's generally something I'm interested in. I was the kind of person who never took interested in anything, so being interested in something was a huge thing for me. The money is a plus for sure, but wasn't really the main reason.
