Cant install Solus

What's the point? If Ubuntu supports your hardware, why would you try to force Solus onto your system?

Most smaller distributions differ in trivial ways and tend to be "me too" projects, because it's so easy to craft a Linux distribution with small differences from the mainstream distributions. The issues come up with installers and hardware support, which only the largest and more well-maintained distributions can manage.

If Solus cannot support your computer's hardware, maybe it's time to reconsider that distribution.

Or if you prefer, install a text-only install, terminal access, no graphics. That was the norm 30 years ago, and it was perfectly acceptable.
