Car towed in Cambridge fine to pay some1 says

I haven't seen cars being clamped in Cambridge for years. Then there was a rash of it about a month or so ago. Clearly someone had got a license off the council to do some clamping and were making hay while the sun was shining. I've got to be honest it looked shady as fuck. Saw the truck take a couple of cars off our street and... yeah. I can sort of imagine how contracts for that kind of work are bought and sold and the kinds of outfits you are likely to get doing it as a result. So not surprised by this story. But on the other hand paying your tax and insurance to avoid getting a clamp, which is what they generally get you for, isn't that hard really.
