Carlos is frustrating me this season

Respectfully disagree. The OG show has a prominent lesbian couple (Karen & Hen) who've been through the storm and have a pretty happy relationship, and a family with their son & foster kids at a time. These two were conceived by the same creator, and using one couple to diminish and catastrophise them all across the entertainment board is a bit extreme. The reason they have so much going for TK and Carlos as individuals is because:

  1. TK is main character's son, hence more screen time. I'm not sure if this is the same excuse they used for his traumas though.

  2. By proxy Carlos is connected to TK & Owen, and last years we did complain he wasn't getting enough screentime as an individual rather than TK's extension.

  3. All this is done in a drama show, where the key to keep watchers going is... Drama. Nothing of this signalized TK & Carlos will be hurt or have a sad ending as a couple or individuals. It's just another obstacle they're throwing at them, testing the relationship a bit and they'll have their wedding. I'll relate back to Karen and Hen who've been through Karen's work, Hen's ex, a new baby in a fresh relationship, med school, cheating, losing a child, fostering other children and a near death trauma in this last half of season. They lived, they worked through it, and they're okay.

I'm sincerely doubtful Tim wants to pull an SVU that spent 24 years teasing a romantic relationship between two leads and then just fk us all off in the moments (yes, plural) it was supposed to happen.
