First of all, thanks to all of you for the kind comments. Casey is a really sweet dog who just needed some love & I'm so happy to have her in my family.
However, there are some of you with not so nice comments
I first posted Casey in /r/Awww but it's subreddit rules don't allow sob stories & what not. This is how I came across this /r/BeforeNAfterAdoption subreddit & decided to post it here. All I wanted is to post her progress picture.
Casey was first rescued in March 2018, where a kind person found her by the side of the road & brought her to MIAR. MIAR (Malaysia Independant Animal Rescue) is a NGO & a self funded rescue & animal shelter that is based in Malaysia.They are home to a couple hundred extremely happy dogs that are taken care of.
It is highly doubtful that Casey is a lost dog as she could hardly walk with the tumor in the first place & even now after the surgery, she is a slow walking chill dog. She is blind in one eye & her other eye has cataract so she has not much vision left.
Some have asked how I know she was used for breeding. Casey has been to 3 different vets & they all said that she had given birth many times throughout her life. She is estimated to be about 9 years old now so obviously her pregnancies were when she was younger.
