The argument that they are a waste of money is reasonable in a frugal sense.

Crackles offers no benefits honestly. They offer a enhanced “experience”. I always enjoyed them within reason personally. Which is not always what stratified offered if I’m honest.

The fact is, nobody ever claimed they improved performance (even though they could of based on my own testing) it’s a visceral added experience

My stance has always been that if you want fun then go for it. It doesn’t matter the tuner, if they figure out how I made them then good for them. I don’t get paid either way.

It’s a fun extra feature and everyone should enjoy as long as it safe for the car IMO.
