Without question, 100%, there are racist pieces of shit in every police department, I don't doubt that for a second, but if we are putting a number on it, it is a tiny, tiny minority. Most cops are just doing their job and it just so happens that through social marginalisation, a lot of black communities are poor and therefore poor communities generally engage in crime (I come from Ireland, where we have pretty much just one skin colour, but the socio-economic factors are identical, but in the U.S. you can usually tell poor areas and thus high crime areas by the colour of peoples skin, but in America, that is a result of the legacy of a two tiered society, colour of skin has zero impact on a persons character, socio-economic factors do - it just so happens in America that after equal rights were established, there has still been minimal opportunities for black members of society to establish themselves amongst the middle classes due to mass social housing projects, minimal infrastructure and in areas with no employment or education opportunities),

Anyway, I'm going off point here, I'm an economist, I understand social opportunities, but nothing pisses me off more than people hiding behind skin colour for their own failures, like you're finding the easy answer is you didn't have a chance in the game so you never played, rather than playing the cards you were dealt and achieving your potential.
