[Brooks] Breaking news: Panarin is taking a leave of absence from NYR in aftermath of political hit piece against him from Russia alleging that he beat up an 18-year-old girl in Russia in 2011.

No, I'm being very, very specific. I mentioned healthcare, politics and money. The three big things that are always brought up when talking about "American exceptionalism" (look that one up)

I'm sorry that people don't seem to like the reputation that Canada has on the world stage (and it's a good one, especially in Europe and Mexico and elsewhere I've traveled with a Canadian flag on my backpack). When I visited Germany some years ago I was given a lot of bad looks and dirty stares when people assumed I was American. When I told them I was Canadian they perked right up. This has happened to so many other people who have traveled as well. Sorry for spitting facts. America does not have a good reputation on the world stage anymore. They've become a laughing-stock, especially after failing (hard) politically (domestic and foreign policies alike) for the past 5 years straight.
