These leftist men/women aren't worth it. They're weirdos. They generally don't have clear views and tend to get swayed or let's say influenced by the decision of their opponents and function based on a negative feedback loop. I have a friend (a distant relative tbh) who started dating such a librand guy when she was in 11th. She was a rather politically uninformed person and this guy was all pomp and show. I remember he used to call himself a post modernist. She got a seat in IIT Roorkee and this guy got admission in a local college. He then went on to blackmail her by asking money and shit to pay for his liberal lifestyle, parties, ganja and all. And to add to this, he would frequently persuade her to join his fight against capitalism, fascism blah blah. At one point she was so influenced by his ideas that she literally bashed anyone and everyone who went on to say anything against her. I remember it was probably in her second semester when she performed really bad. After that I guess something happened which I Frankly don't know and then they broke up and after their break-up I could see something changed in her. Every other day she'd post pics of hanuman, krishna and others. Reminds me of the Tina Dabi case lol. Nonetheless she's doing well now. Don't have any inkling about what happened to the guy. Neither do I ask her about him anymore nor do I have any interest in knowing his whereabouts. Long story short, these liberal people (in India at least) are cringey and mad. They may be good looking or might have good knowledge of English and all, but they're not worth it. At the end of the day you'll need someone who behaves like a human not like a macaque monkey.
