This cheesesteak from a place in Florida

To answer some questions…

A Philly cheesesteak is a regional delicacy(?) that consists of grilled steak—usually ribeye—grilled onions, and one of three different cheeses—wiz, white American, or provalone.

They usually do not contain nearly this much meat. If anything, there’s normally not enough meat. This is an 8 inch sandwich on a full sized plate. Most of it fell out while it was being eaten.

The place is literally just called South Philly Cheesesteaks and is run by someone from Philadelphia. There are a lot of people from that area who retire or spend the winter down here. I am here visiting family.

And it was actually decent. I’ve had much, much worse in Southern California.
