I hear ya, I have never done the hunt thing and just pick up what comes my way via lottos or stopping by Total Wine once a week (am getting beers anyways). Probably have too many bottles but I I'll get to them.

Since expanding to different stuff I found on Seelbachs and r/bourbon picks I am over any FOMO and just like trying the cool shit that comes out. There's new bottles coming out every week that are cool so like too many to try and so many of them are great.

Make sense though if the hunt has taken over its no fun and becomes tedious. Like my best scores have always been at Costco and I'm there buying groceries anyways twice a week (its closer than the grocery store by luck).
