Club Nintendo Code for Smash (3DS (NA)) Give Away Contest

I'll give it a shot!

My favorite Nintendo series would be the Mario Kart series. Daisy is my favorite character, because she's loud and obnoxious! My favorite memory would have to be one time where I played Mario Kart: Double Dash at my friend Sean's house. There were 6 of us, around the ages 8-15. Sean, Rosie, Kevin, Luke, Paulo, and I would all stay in Sean's room and take turns playing Shine Thief in Mario Kart: Double Dash's battle mode. The oldest in the room was Paulo, Sean's older brother with Down Syndrome who would usually just be our audience along with whoever wasn't playing at the time (usually Luke my younger brother.)

Basically, the object of the game is to take the Shine Sprite (similar to the traditional Mario star) and hold onto it while the time ticks down from 60 seconds. The other players have to chase you down and try to hit you with items to "steal the bacon" and take the Shine Sprite themselves. The person who has the Shine Sprite at 0 seconds wins.

It was always such a close hectic game that we'd play several times, but this round was especially intense. We were playing in Block City, and it was down to the last ten seconds. Sean was Toad and Wario, I was Daisy and Yoshi, Rosie was Mario and Peach, and Kevin was King Boo and Luigi. Usually one of us would get a lightning bolt item at the last second to keep the game rolling but things weren't looking good for me, Rosie, and Kevin. Sean was about to win with five seconds left.. until SOMEHOW I hit him out of pure luck with a GREEN SHELL! As in the usual Sean fashion, he let out a bloodcurdling, overdramatic, girlish scream as he was de-Sprited. As I took the Shine Sprite and rode away into the sunset and victory, we all started yelling at the top of our lungs! Sean and Kevin even stood up from the bed with controllers in their hands, putting every ounce of their energy in trying to stop me. But even with their full efforts in pursuit, I won after the clock ticked down to the last second! I jumped up for joy and delight! Even at the end of the round when we were out of breath, we were all still laughing and yelling about who bested who, and taunting each other playfully. Somehow, Paulo got caught up in the yelling and excitement, and so stood up and peed on one of Sean's pillows. The rest of us came to a halt and silence filled the room. The we all looked at each other...then let out bloodcurdling overdramatic, girlish screams.

Yes my friends and I still laugh about it to this day.
