I disagree, but there's so much subjectivity to what you're saying I don't know how to really address it so I'll just do a list.

1 - saying ALL trump supporters are assholes leaves no room for even a single person who supports him to not be an asshole even if you personally don't know any. Mathematically that just doesn't fit. There's going to be at least 1 who, based on statistics, doesn't fit whatever your definition is of an asshole.

2 - What you think an asshole is may not be what someone else thinks it is. Does supporting someone who is a piece of shit also make you a piece of shit?

3 - I know a staunch Trump supporter who I disagree with on almost everything, but who is charismatic, a good father, good husband, hard worker, contributes to his community, and, the kicker, has adopted six orphaned minority children. We're never going to be best friends and I think a lot of his political thoughts are, frankly, terrible, but I can't conceive a situation where I would think he is, as a core trait, an asshole.

4 - MANY trump supporters are extremely nice and caring people. My father in law was one. He didn't care about everyone and everything, but those he did care for he would move mountains for. Further he was one of those people who can make a friend out of anyone. He knew his mail carrier, he knew the gas station attendant where he filled up, he knew his landscaper. Yes, he could be an asshole, but so can we all, and it was not who we was as a person.
