I was worried about this too and was obviously nervous about decocking Jericho enhanced manually, but since I was used to decocking beretta with decocker and having double action and safety I wanted to carry jericho that way. I didn't even think it was safe to manually decock contacted iwi on facebook even and was like is this really the only way to decock it? They were like uh ya. Went out to national forest where its legal to shoot and manually decocked it about 60 times and never discharged it, now i keep it loaded hammer fully down with safety on and hardly ever mess with it just keep it loaded the only time I have to do it is after coming home from range cleaning it then I decock it manually, its really not that bad and fairly safe but of course its nerve-racking and you have to be carefull. Just get comfortable doing it.
